How did you spend your weekend?
As some of you already know, Sunday the 27 of January was the final day of the exhibition of Picasso, after four months of opening. There were about 5000 visitors during whole the day (it was on show in Milan Royal Palace). It was the most visited exhibition in Italy in 2012.
And It was the third exhibition of Picasso made in Milan, after the one in 1953 and the other in 2001.
Among the many masterpieces of the undisputed master of this century, pieces such as "La Celestina" (1904), "Man with Mandolin" (1911), "Portrait of Olga" (1918), "Two Women Running on the Beach" (1922), "Paul as Harlequin" (1924), "Portrait of Dora Maar" and "supplicant" (1937) were exposed to the public.
It's a success not only among adults but it also involved many children and young people who have attended workshops organized by the Royal Palace.
In addition, on the 18th of February there will be held at the Royal Palace a public meeting for a critical evaluation of the success of this show, with data, numbers and testimonies of those involved in this great exhibition.

Come alcuni di voi saprà già, domenica 27 gennaio è stata la giornata conclusiva della mostra di Picasso dopo quattro mesi di apertura con circa 5000 visitatori nell'arco della giornata (era in mostra a Milano Palazzo Reale). E' stata la mostra più visitata d'Italia nel 2012.
E' stata la terza mostra di Picasso realizzata a Milano, dopo quella del 1953 e quella del 2001.
Tra i tanti capolavori dell'indiscusso maestro del XX secolo, le opere come “La Celestina” (1904), “Uomo con il mandolino” (1911), “Ritratto di Olga” (1918), “Due donne che corrono sulla spiaggia” (1922), ”Paul come Arlecchino” (1924), “Ritratto di Dora Maar” e “La supplicante” (1937) erano esposte al pubblico.
E' un successo non solo fra gli adulti ma ha coinvolto anche tantissimi bambini e ragazzi che hanno seguito i laboratori didattici organizzati dal Palazzo Reale.
Inoltre il 18 febbraio si svolgerà presso Palazzo Reale un incontro pubblico per una valutazione critica del successo di questa mostra, con dati, numeri e testimonianze da parte dei protagonisti di questo grande progetto espositivo.
